Morning Coffee

I worked with Shane at Helen Hayes Hospital day shift. It was my job to wake him up in the morning. Although he wouldn’t want to get up, as soon as he heard coffee and breakfast were coming, he would perk up. We started every morning with him asking about Vanessa and when he would be able to return to his work. Shane was an exceptional person. Pure spirit and full of love for all he met. It was a privilege to have had the opportunity to have had them touch our lives at the hospital.
