Videoconferences

In the months before his accident, Shane and I had a number of videoconferences and calls. I was always impressed by his kindness, good humor, and modesty. I distinctly remember thinking, after what would be our last conversation, that I was looking forward to getting to know Shane better and working with him. I still do! I like to think our friendship is just paused, not stopped.
