I remember when I was out of a job, I was discouraged that I was not a valuable community member. Shane encouraged me that I could volunteer as a docent at the library in Scottsville, VA. I got the job and kept it until I could hold a permanent job. I could also informal witness!
Another time, Shane took me and Vanessa to a quickbuild. We got there in the middle of the night to do the drop ceiling but they weren’t open. So we slept in the car.
Elephants In Africa! Shane gave a talk on the meeting about using good teaching methods. He urged our Congregation to “Explain, Illustrate, and Apply” the main points when we conduct our Bible Studies. He said that we can use a mnemonic to remember it Explain, Illustrate, Apply or Elephants In Africa.
