He went beyond what was Kind

What a wonderful spiritual man Shane was. When we think of him, we always think of his displays of “goodness.” He went beyond what was right or even kind, but he gave to his service and his dealing with others that special touch of “goodness”, like pausing to pull weeds from a landscape bed, doing some serious tough yard work at the Salon, or making sure that two little know brothers would get a chance to commute to Bethel. These are just a few examples that we observed and that make him so dear to us and so many others. Jehovah saw his goodness and no doubt all of his other Christian qualities.
