Compassionate and Funny

No words can convey how much Shane meant to all of us. He was a spiritual, loving, compassionate, funny, smart, friends and fellow worker. We cherish our moments with him. He was always available when we reach out to him. He would help us understand and work through things, never making us feel bad for asking (Isaiah 32:2). He had a way to see things clearly and from a spiritual point of view. He has left a lasting mark on us and this department that will never be forgotten. Referring to the start of HCD in Central America, one BC member put it this way, “Shane was HCD”. Shane set such a wonderful example for those of us here and now and we strive to live up to it.
